Having studied photography in Germany and the United States, Ann returned to Hong Kong to build her career in the multimedia industry. Ann received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied & Media Arts, organized by Hong Kong Arts School and Hong Kong Polytechnic University and her Master of Science in Multimedia & Entertainment Technology, School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Over the years, she has gained extensive knowledge and experience through her roles as television producer, program executive producer, photographer, researcher, scriptwriter and magazine editor. Ann is also an independent film director.

Her directorial debut film, “ah pig ah dog.com”, was featured in the Absolute Independent 2005 festival, hosted by the Hong Kong Film Critics Organization and commissioned by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Screened at Broadway Cinematheque, Yaumatei, “ah pig ah dog.com” was the only independent film in the film festival that attracted a full house attendance.

Ann’s gift is in seizing each remarkable moment with her camera. Her artistic eye blends with her technical skills to capture the memory forever. Her stunning spontaneous photography style makes her pictures full of vibrancy and feeling.

Ann’s sense of composition in photography creates the sensation that each still is part of a movie and a poem. Each frame encompasses a scene, an idea, an emotion. Whether the setting is formal or informal, there is always Ann’s pervasive sense of style and originality.

Ann believes the “picture speaks”, for wedding photography is not only about showing each precious moment itself, but also in setting it in its proper context. Only then can the whole vivid story be revealed: photographic evidence with an exciting sense of real life.

曾分別留學德國與美國攻讀攝影藝術系，並考取香港藝術學院和理工合辦的應用媒體藝術學士及香港理工大學設計學院多媒體科藝理學碩士，Ann Choi對事業從沒有一個很明確的計畫，例如規定自己一生要拍什麼。她只是試圖拍攝那些能觸動她視覺神經的事物，然後她開始研究那些深層次的感情本質，想把它們用照片表現出來。Ann認為婚禮攝影盡可能使用自然光，把要拍攝的新娘子當成是名人般看待，不要只注意拍攝動作，表情也是重要的。另一方面，婚禮攝影師也不要試圖控制局面，應該是要從目擊者的角度出發，重點是要用照片來記錄事件。她曾任職電視台 ，報紙和雜誌等工作，現在是全職攝影師外， 亦曾經執導及製作獨立電影。同時參與設計和創作工作。
